The time is now!! We have begun our journey to Greece. I can't believe we are in another country, serving our God together as a team and uniting with our family here in Greece!
Starting at the church, most of us met there where Ryan gathered all of us around for a word of prayer for our trip. Feeling encouraged and lifted up we were all ecstactic about going!! All of us loaded up into the cars and headed for LAX. The flight was long, but we all read, slept, watched a movie etc. We had an 8 hour layover in London which we were excited about, but Ryan thought it would be best to stick around the airport since our group is so large and it would take a lot of time for all of us to travel. Wise decision Ryan. So, we spent Johanna's birthday in Heathrow airport. Yes, it was her birthday yesterday. We sang Happy Birthday in the airport pretty loud and embarrassed her. People clapped afterwards, it was awesome! Once we got on our flight to Athens, finally, we were anticipating meeting the youth director at the church in Athens, Vasalia. She greeted us with much joy. We were instantly friends, and sisters and brothers in Christ with one vision and hope for the youth! We loaded up a huge bus and began our drive to our hotel, at 4am Athens time. Vasalia is so sweet to wake up at such an inconvient time to greet us. Once we got to the hotel, we were pretty tired, so we all went our separate ways into our hotel rooms and crashed.
The plan is to sight see for a few days. The youth camp starts on Monday and goes until Saturday. Today we were able to go sight seeing! Vasalia and our team met in the lobby and took the metro to...where else but, STARBUCKS?!?! We then took a train to a beautiful beach of the Aegean Sea. We climbed on the rocks and dipped our feet in the water and the boys had a rock skipping contest, Adam won, haha. We had lunch at a local restaurant called Goody's then headed back to our hotel. We slept most of the day so it went by fast. The plan for tommorow is to visit Corinth. We are all so excited about it!
Till next time, here are some photos of our trip so far:)

Love the pictures! I feel like I am right there with you all. Our prayers are with you that God would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out His spirit and anointing on those whom He has chosen you to reach on this trip and on the church in Athens.
